Install Spectrum Scale on Worker Node

This is only a recommendation but try to always keep your systems update to date before you even start installing Spectrum Scale on your systems.

$ sudo reboot

$ sudo yum install unzip ksh perl libaio.x86_64 net-tools m4 gcc-c++ psmisc.x86_64 "kernel-devel-uname-r == $(uname -r)" -y

If the IBM Spectrum Scale Client is in tar.gz format you need to extract that file.

$ tar zxvf Scale_dme_install-5.0.5.0_x86_64.tar.gz
</cli>

From the installation file you must extra all the RPMs from the installation software.

$ sudo ./Spectrum_Scale_Data_Management-5.0.5.0-x86_64-Linux-install --text-only --silent
