===== Requirements on clients for VM backups =====

  * **VMware Tools** installed and up to date. For **linux**, it's easier to maintain using **open-vm-tools**, package included in most distribution: Redhat, Suse, Debian, Ubuntu... (http://emmanuel.iffly.free.fr/doku.php?id=linux:linux_install_centos7#install_additional_packages)

  * For **incremental backup on VM**, you have to set on each VM, the advanced parameter: **ctkEnabled** = "true", can only be set when you stop the VM (http://emmanuel.iffly.free.fr/doku.php?id=tsm:tsm_tdpvmware#troubleshoot)

  * For Windows VM, that **required VSS** for consistency (typically AD, DNS, MSSQL, Exchange...), you have to set a login/password, so TDP for VE will do a VMware snapshot combined with a VSS snapshot (http://emmanuel.iffly.free.fr/doku.php?id=tsm:tsm_tdpvmware#special_note_for_tdp_for_ve_v4)

  * **Minimum hardware level: 7** for all VM on Vsphere, required for Change Block Tracking
