Policy Based HA (replace Hyperswap)

Storage partitions are used to implement a Policy-based High Availability solution.Partitions contain

• volumes
• volume groups
• hosts
• host-to-volume mappings.

Within a partition:

• All volumes are in volume groups.
• Mappings can only be created between volumes and hosts in the same partition

You 'll apply a replication policy to the volume group and optionally a protection policy based on snapshotting, with or without safeguard.
