tsm:tdpve_add_datamover

Add a new datamover

:!: use full qualified hostname, and register into a DNS

Step 1: Install a VM

Step 2: Install TDP for VE package: typical install (Datamover)

Step 3: Copy dsm.opt file from another datamover and modify nodename

Step 4: Create the node on TSM server and set the proxy

Step 5: Create the 3 TSM services based on dsm.opt file (agent, acceptor, scheduler; only acceptor is automaticaly started)

Step 6: Activate the datamover using

 C:\Program Files\Tivoli\TSM\baclient>dsmc SET PASSWORD -type=VM vcenter01 service.tsm@domain <passwd> 

-optfile=dsm.VM_HRS_DM.opt

Step 7: Activate the new datamover into TDP VE first datamover web interface

Step 8: Create the nodename into VMware tags (as datamover)

Step 9: Associate a schedule into TSM server
