To install DCNM for linux, if you don't use a Redhat 5.8 to install DCNM v6.2, then change the file /etc/redhat-release by (work also on Opensuse 12.3, CentOS 6.x …):
Red Hat Enterprise Linux Server release 5.8 (Tikanga)
Then start the insatller.
If you lose your DCNM user password, then you can reset it:
Ask a Cisco DCNM administrator to reset your password using one of the following scripts:
•For Microsoft Windows, use dcnm_root_directory/dcm/dcnm/bin/pwreset.bat (by default, dcnm_root_directory is c:\Program Files\Cisco Systems\dcm\dcnm\bin).
•For Linux, use dcnm_root_directory/dcm/dcnm/bin/pwreset.sh (by default, the dcnm_root_directory is /usr/local/cisco).
